My name is Katie Segarra and I am a developer and designer interested in art history, regenerative materials, and circular apparel production. I interpret fashion as a means of poetic research capable of sparking dialogue and generating impact — my skills ranging from text to textiles. A painter first, I view the garments I develop as fabric paintings.

My work is heavily influenced by the experiences I've gained from travel. My father who was a pilot and my mom who was a flight attendant showed me the value of exploring new places and cultures from a young age. The same curiosity and exploration I take into travel, I take into all of my creative endeavors as well.
