Duties:
In my multifaceted role as Design + Product Assistant to the senior apparel designers, I have been given the opportunity to perform a product development and apparel design hybrid role. My product development responsibilities include the creation of tech packs, art packages and delivery of final line plans to our manufacturers. I also own the management, tracking, fabric library and sample coordination of the Quincy Mae and Nora Lee brands under Rylee + Cru every season. My apparel design responsibilities include updating CAD drawings as needed, graphic apparel artwork, collection research, embroidery design, CAD silhouette drawings, and print recoloring. I also help to aid the photo team in backdrops for studio, lifestyle and flats shoots as needed.
In this embroidery, I used paisleys to create a repeat eyelet design on the hem of three styles for AW27. The theme of the collection was western prairie.
In this embroidery, I sourced vintage embroideries as inspiration for developing a new repeat with three leaf clovers.

This was a garland I machine sewed using the scrap fabric from our unused samples. It was used for the Quincy Mae Valentines Day flats and lifestyle shoots.
This was a curtain backdrop I draped, sewed, and hung to achieve a vintage theatre stage. It was used for the Nora Lee Costume studio shoots.
This was a curtain backdrop I draped, sewed, and hung to achieve an elegant special occasion spring scene. It was used for the Nora Lee Easter studio shoots.
This was a quilt I created using excess sample fabric which I then cut and sewed to achieve an camp inspired backdrop. It was used for the Rylee + Cru Black Friday lifestyle shoot.
